Peta Carey

WEBSITE

It’s easy to put the creation of your website on the backburner. You realise it’s a valuable tool to secure future work, but you’re time poor and don’t know quite where to begin. This was writer Peta Carey’s conundrum and what motivated her to approach us.

Peta’s original website had served her well for many years but required more than an update. We needed to start afresh. It was missing Peta’s recent work, looked dated and lacked the functionality to showcase her extensive portfolio of books, editorials and documentaries.

Creating the new site was very much a team effort. Peta gave us a clear brief. She wanted a clean design that felt spacious and made it easy for viewers to access her work. Peta, not surprisingly, wrote the copy and Michelle developed the site. Organising and displaying the wealth of content was a priority. So too was making the site look inviting. Simple icons were chosen to mark each portfolio category. All other imagery was from the many books, articles and videos Peta has written and directed over the years.

It was an absolute pleasure working with Peta, a fellow creative and someone whose work and endeavours we greatly admire.

Forever Yours

LOGO

The logo we created for Forever Yours was handcrafted - an intricate design illustrated by Michelle Euinton on a sketchpad and then finished in Photoshop. Michelle worked in collaboration with our client, Tehani Buchanan, who creates customised funeral stationery for her clients.

'Working with Michelle and Diana has been amazing. They really made the process of creating my logo as easy as possible and were mindful of working within my budget. Added to that, they loved what my business is about.'

Due to other commitments, Forever Yours has temporarily taken their website offline.

'Michelle was extremely patient and creative when all I could tell her was that I wanted a tree symbolising new life and a nice font. She is great to work with and her creative flair and eye for design clearly show in her work. I am so happy with what she has come up with! I would definitely use her for future projects and can highly recommend her to anyone. I really appreciated Diana's suggestions and input into the copy. They're a great team.'

Rentia’s website is active though she now manages it herself.
